Analyzing Satellite Images
Use the information in the Classroom Activity Sheet and the links provided below to view and analyze each satellite image. You will also need an atlas or globe to determine the location of features on the satellite images. (Alternatively Google Earth is an excellent choice to view the location of these features)

This assigment will be recoreded as a Lab grade.
Due Date: Monday 9-30-13
The following 3-point Rubric will be used to evaluate student work. Students are evaluated on how successful you are in using the resources provided, whether you are able to read the satellite images, and whether you are are able to answer the questions successfully.
RUBRIC
3 points- All questions were answered thoroughly: displayed resourcefulness and communitcated effectively.
2 points- Most questions answered; somewhat resourceful and effective communication.
1 point- At most, half the questions were answered; shows litttle resourcefulness and ineffective communication.
*A point will be added for each bonus question answered correctly.
